Welcome to The Marstan Hotel in Torquay, a former gentleman’s residence built in 1854 nestled in the hills of the peaceful conservation area. In the last few years the villa has been lovingly restored by the current owners to it’s former glory and is one of only four establishments in Torquay to have received a five star guest accommodation rating, providing outstanding service and surroundings for our guests.

Enjoying the best of both worlds, we are on a quiet road, moment’s walk from the delightful Meadfoot Beach and it’s wonderful coastal paths and close enough to walk into town. We have a great range of facilities for a smaller establishment including a licensed bar, swimming pool and hot tub and this is combined with a strong emphasis on customer service, which is personal but never intrusive.
